Inspired by the beers of Bamberg, Germany, our smoked hefeweizen has been an S&O seasonal favorite since year one.
The smell of distant campfires rises gently from the head to suggest hints of what’s to come. Familiar hefeweizen notes of clove and banana cream are enhanced with a slightly higher carbonation to give a rich mouthfeel. The finish lingers with subtle beechwood on the palate. This is the ideal beer for a patio session, a plate of BBQ or to accompany a fresh plate of oysters.
