Paint & Beer Workshop
Join us at the brewery on Monday August 15th for an evening of paint and beer!
Starting at 6PM you will explore the creativity within you as you paint with the guidance of local artist, Clarissa Banos!
Originally from San Salvador, El Salvador, @clarissabanosart now works from a cozy home studio right here in New Westminster.
They produce incredibly colourful artwork that is inspired by their ancestral heritage and passion for the magnificent indigenous civilizations of the Ancient Americas, all while paying tribute to the beauty, strength and resilience of indigenous Latin American women through their artwork.
Clarissa will be leading a guided workshop that will introduce participants to simple drawing and painting techniques as well as basic colour theory. This will be 2.5 hour workshop that will be a very fun and enjoyable experience, where self expression and artistic exploration becomes far more important than technical proficiency, resulting in a piece that participants feel happy with and proud to bring home!
Included in the $45 workshop will be:
