Okome

The beer you’re about to enjoy is the result of a special collaboration between Steel & Oak Brewing, PiDGiN restaurant, and artisan sakemaker Masa Shiroki. More than just a beverage, this brew is a heartfelt tribute to the resilience and passion of local hospitality professionals who continue to push forward through an ever-shifting economic landscape.

Crafted with organic brown rice grown in Abbotsford, BC, the rice was rinsed by hand and gently cooked in our brew kettle, allowing the converted starches and rice hulls to blend seamlessly into the grain bill. Lightly hopped with Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc, this Japanese-style rice lager delivers soft floral and subtly sweet notes, finishing refreshingly crisp. A perfect partner for your next culinary experience.
