Inspiration for beer
Our friends at Field House brought us a new thiolized yeast strain so we built a beer to maximize tropical flavour notes.
What sets this beer apart? What’s notable?
The thiolized yeast bio-transforms compounds found in malt and hops into aromatic thiols that are bursting with tropical notes. We capitalized on that by adding guava and yuzu to this pale ale. Wheat and Oats bring a soft and luscious mouthfeel.
Guava and yuzu, duh! Floral and citrus notes from the yuzu hit your nose, the flavour is citrus forward, balanced with gentle maltiness and guava sweetness.
