Beers

Carefree

An incredibly refreshing yet delicately complex beer to enjoy in the sunshine. Aromas of grapefruit, lime zest, nectar and green tea along with a crisp taste, honeyed finish.
Don’t worry about it. Just kick back, relax and throw your cares away for a while.

Galoshes

Spring rain brings renewal and growth and this hazy IPA is full of bold, bright and green flavours.  CryoPop, Mosaic, and Sabro offer luscious stonefruit, citrus and fresh fir notes that are perfect to soak in. Just don’t forget your galoshes!

Fresh Foam

Vienna Lager is a returning collaboration with Steel & Oak Brewing. It has a slightly modified recipe from last year’s version using a different base malt and hopping schedule. We get toasted cracker and bread character with a crisp balanced bitterness.

Staff Party

Bright and fruity on the nose, effervescent on the tongue with a lush and slightly tart mouthfeel. The finish is smooth and refreshing. This is a Good Things charity beer with partial proceeds donated to Don’t Go Hungry: A Food Support Program

West Coast ESB

This West Coast take on the traditional Extra Special Bitter imparts round flavours of biscuit and malt and bright notes of grapefruit and pine. A lingering hoppy finish brings balance and depth to the party.

Boomerang 3: There & Back Again

This beer is hoppy. It’s juicy. It’s big. It’s balanced. We’ve done this long enough to not guarantee anything but if you like DIPAs… You’ll definitely, most likely, chances are like this one.

En Blanc

A barley wine fermented with wine yeast aged in chardonnay barrels. Hints of vanilla, apricot and peach lend to the fruitcake and molasses goodness.

En Rouge

Black currant, dark cherry, leather and tobacco sit upon notes of plums and dates. En Rouge was fermented with wine yeast and aged for one… Read More »En Rouge

Roselle

Hibiscus and rosehips combine in this classic wheat ale to provide bright notes of pomegranate, banana and spice.

Necessarily Complicated

Decoction is a traditional German method of making beer where, during the mash, a portion of the mash (grain and water mixture) is removed, boiled, and then returned to the main mash. It’s a very time consuming and overly complicated process that helps develop complex, yet subtle, malt character and depth.

Throw Blanket

Strata is the star here, delivering resin and passionfruit on the nose and a mouthful of fresh pine. Idaho 7 and Amarillo support the team, throwing up shots of citrus and stone fruit. Classic American ale yeast keeps things crispy and clean.

Overcast

A hefty Imperial Stout, with subtle additions of piloncillo sugar and orange, that was aged for 6 months in a Rye Whiskey barrel and 6 months in the bottle. Notes of dark chocolate, coffee, citrus as well as molasses and oaken spice are present.

Woodland

Woodland is our flagship Dark Lager, aged in freshly emptied rye barrels. After soaking up a healthy amount of whiskey flavour, we then blended the barrel back with fresh dark lager to get the best of both worlds. Light and complex, smooth and bold with notes of hazelnut, cacao and woodland oak.

Velvet Thunder

Velvet Thunder is a dark English-style wild ale. Aged in Chardonnay barrels for over a year with brettanomyces to give it a fruity, funky hit. After another year of bottle conditioning, Velvet Thunder demonstrates notes of sherry, cherry and vanilla with a slight tartness to round it out. Complex but approachable.
